Portrait Photography fun turned into a book cover

At times I get to take random pictures no fancy flash or light just raw light on-board camera flash and get what I get.

Here Model Monica Milem Poses on the pebble beach of Lake Coeur d'Alene for a portrait with the Lake and Tubbs Hill for landscape.

I took the first image then added in the spaceship. Then created an old effect and added text for a book cover with the results being a book cover mock-up indicating aliens are here.

Creative Real Estate pictures. Photography in HDR

Real Estate Photography

This house is hard to shoot in the summer due to being hidden by tree leaves and such.

In the winter you can see the whole thing better. Here I was actually on a side street looking across a lawn and road to get the desired shot I liked. The shadow caused by the trees created nice interesting shadows on the snow. Yes I used the tree trunks to frame the shot although it took away from other parts of the picture.

Little Red Church • The Fort Sherman Chapel

The Fort Sherman Chapel is a great picturesque area. Getting a perfect clean and colorful post card shot is fun, then I like to come back when things are not quite so perfect and see how they look.

The one thing you notice is since last summer they removed the small tree on the left of the chapel

Coeur d'Alene Sea-Wall / Storm-Wall

The Coeur d'Alene storm-wall / sea-wall was assembled for two days for an inspection.

According to long time resident and city worker the wall was partially assembled up in the 1970's during high water on Lake Coeur d'Alene to block the walk ways to the beach. The last time the wall was fully assembled was in the 1940's

The wall stretches from North Idaho College to the Museum next to the Coeur d'Alene City Park and Beach. The only stretch not put up was next to the museum where the railroad lines used to run.

Other local residents joked that it was to stop an attack of the Fort Grounds area from the Lake to a FEMA test of using the Fort Grounds as a enclosed camp.
