Creative Photography making digital art. The railway tracks.

Here I took a photograph of a railway line that is kind of cool, something about railway tracks is cool.  So I took the photograph and made it pop with creative filters and a border/frame to give it an aged appearance.
I know center and thirds rules, too bad I love the clouds and love the rails so I broke the rules

Creative Real Estate pictures. Photography in HDR

Real Estate Photography

This house is hard to shoot in the summer due to being hidden by tree leaves and such.
In the winter you can see the whole thing better.  Here I was actually on a side street looking across a lawn and road to get the desired shot I liked.  The shadow caused by the trees created nice interesting shadows on the snow.  Yes I used the tree trunks to frame the shot although it took away from other parts of the picture.

Little Red Church • The Fort Sherman Chapel

The Fort Sherman Chapel is a great picturesque area.  Getting a perfect clean and colorful post card shot      is fun, then I like to come back when things are not quite so perfect and see how they look.

The one thing you notice is since last summer they removed the small tree on the left of the chapel

Seeing photography your way. Portrate or Landscapes, events to commercial give your pictures the feel they need.

There are many ways pf looking at a picture.  Depending on what you are trying to do will depend on whether you keep it as shot or get creative to portray your emotion.   Getting artistic is taking risk since many will not see it the way you do.
When it comes to creative photography for yourself or for a client give your self some options.  Sometimes giving it a week and trying again brings even more results.

It is your picture, make it look how you see and remember it

Unless you are doing NEWS photography show what you saw by tweaking your pictures to show how you see and remember things, to portray emotion.

These shots I tweaked to show what I remember and what I saw.  They pop out a bit at you and are crisp.  The day I took these the air was crisp and clean, the temperature was cool, my state of mind, though being debated about, was happy.

Getting creative to help fix and hide a bad shot

Here is Big Ben I shot while on an open bus moving through London.  The lighting was bad as the sun was going down.

Had to do a bit of tweaking to show more detail on the tower so it was not just a silhouetted against the sky.

The was not much more I could do with this one, I could darken the sky more, make it look later than it was.

This one was beyond saving, I love the angle to I gave it the vintage look giving the impression it was taken when photography first came out.
